This particular shell was found on a West Texas farm where the Farmer and former owner claimed it to be his favorite drinking chair...maybe it can be your favorite drinking chair, too! Spending many days in the Texas sun, there is some normal fading, scuffing and cloudiness to be expected (please click to enlarge photo 3). The front of the chair, catching the most rays, seems to have faded slightly more than the back of the chair which retains more of its luminance.
Some edge wear is present, and is most obvious in photo 4 where a small area of chipping is evident. This minor issue does not distract from the chair's overall presentation. We find beauty in the shells current natural condition, and love to offer pieces in pure form.
Restoring this fiberglass shell to its original brightness is always an option. We are happy to offer this additional service to our clients.
