A single little bird was sitting on a branch joyfully singing to the world when I approached a large tree on one of my walks in the woods. The little bird was so happy and chirping so loudly that I wanted to capture that moment on one of my purses. I had to add it to my collection.

I have appliqued a branch and leaves to the purse which wraps around the side of the purse and a hand drawn bird is also appliqued to complete the design.
****The appliques are created using Ultra Suede and the buttons are of fallen wood, so that no animals or trees are harmed when creating my purses.
The purse is made of off white canvas duck cloth Water Repellant and has interfacing between the lining and outer fabric for durability.The lining of the purse is made of soft cotton. The bag measures 14" by 10" and contains 6 pockets for all those things that generally end up in the bottom of the purse. The handle has a handmade wooden button with a hole in the center attached to help adjust the shoulder strap. It matches the buttons that are attached to the flap. The bag opening is secured with a magnetic snap. The flap was added for all of you who need more security for the bag opening.
This is a great bag for any occasion! It is plenty roomy for all those necessities and extras too!
My purses are all designed, created, and shipped by me. At times, according to the number of orders, I do get behind. Everything is done by hand. I draw my designs and cut each individually. Each purse is unique and an individual creation, so no two are exactly alike. I go into the woods and gather fallen wood so that no trees are harmed for the buttons that I create for each purse.
