What a glorious machine! The Underwood No. 5 is the most successful typewriter design in history, and were made from 1900 to 1931. The graphic appeal of the logo and the wonderful structure of this large model make this a fantastic display piece.
Measures 15” wide by 12” deep by 9” tall. Very substantial - weighs nearly 30 pounds. This is in display condition only, but could possibly be restored - it was stored in a barn, and the insides show it. There is some definite wear to the paint and some rust on the metal body and the rollers.
