scrimshaw pendant with image of a clipper ship
made of pre-ban walrus ivory (on the back side you can see the rings in the ivory)
silver metal ring embedded at the top from which we've strung a red waxed linen cord
most likely a souvenir item from Alaska or Canada
signed with the initials "UF"

measurements:
pendant 3/4" x 1/2"
cord length 27" (just long enough to slip on over your head)
condition:
excellent vintage condition!
