This is a fabulous Mid Century Bar Stool in Cast Iron or should I say welded iron! I've had this piece for over 20 years. Steel, welded construction that has been untouched, it has only seen light cleaning and carries with it the patina that is so well deserved. I like to keep things in their original condition! This is magnificent, you can see the patina of use due to the fact that it has not been painted or retouched. Yes the seat was recently recovered in a high quality 6 ply woven art deco upholstery fabric in vibrant reds, black and greens but the structure of the piece has been left untouched. A well constructed work of art magnificent in every way, truly a wonderful additional to any Mid Century home.
