Lovely burgundy wool cloché hat dates to the 1930s. This hat is far too large for my tiny mannequin. In fact, it is a nice large size and is the very first Art Deco cloché hat that has ever fit all the way down on my melon head. An angular cut was made on the side and trimmed with rows of top stitching, a band of grosgrain ribbon and a reddish grey button.
See this hat in action in the listing for this leather trench coat:
-Inner circumference: 23"
-Brim in front: 2.5"
-Brim in back: 1.25"
-Crown in front: 4"
-Crown in back: 3.5"
Very Good condition rating an 8 out of 10. There are very shallow, tiny moth nibbles throughout the crown, none on the brim. Only noticeable under close inspection. Ready to wear.
