Thank you for checking out this SeptemberHouse Hand Embroidery Pattern, "Stitches Del Sol". These hand embroidery patterns are all about bright colors and gorgeous floral patterns. Each pattern in the collection was inspired by the folk art traditions of Mexico. From richly embroidered traditional dresses to whimsical Oaxacan painted animals to vibrant woven fabrics – all of these guided me as I designed this set. It’s my hope that the love of color and life that provided so much inspiration to me will show in these embroidery designs and that you will enjoy bringing that same love to your own embroidered projects.
Here is what you will find in this set:

A guide to transferring this unique style of pattern is provided in the set.
One border design in two sizes. This can also be stitched continuously to accomidate any length of fabric.
Three decorative animal embroidery patterns – a butterfly, a pair of birds and a rabbit. All three are animals found in traditional Mexican folk art. I hope you will enjoy these fun and easy-to-stitch variations.
Last but not least, there is a color and stitch guide that shows what I use for my examples. I do however, encourage everyone to use whatever colors and embroidery stitches they like best. A guide for transferring your pattern to fabric is included as well.
The sky is the limit when you stitch these designs. They would look cute on pillows, quilt squares, or framed in hoops. They can be enlarged or reduced to fit your needs so the possibilities are endless.
