This wonderful set came from an estate with high end antiques.
The mirror back has a couple of thin surface scratches that you can see if you rock the mirror back and forth in the light, otherwise you can't see them. The mirror itself has some light cracks in the silver backing. That's what it looks like to me. Plus one tiny dark spot. Still a very useable mirror.
Mirror measures 13 and 3/8 inches long. 5 and 1/8 inches wide.
The brush is in great condition. It measures a little over 8 and 1/2 inches long. 2 and 5/8 inches wide.
The comb is in perfect condition. No missing teeth. It measures 7 and 7/8 inches long. 1 and 3/4 inches wide.
The nail buffer has been used and shows wear. The top of the nail buffer shows some gold loss on the details and the buffer itself has a couple of holes in the felt or outer covering. Part of the outer covering has torn away from the buffer, but it still lays down. The tray the buffer rests in, is in perfect condition.
The buffer measures 5 and 3/4 inches long. About 1 and 1/4 inches wide.
The shoe horn, button tool, nail file, and nail tool are all in fabulous condition.
The round dishes are 4 inches each, across the top.
One dish has the stains of something that has penetrated the celluloid. It smells like vanilla.
Each dish top has a teeny tiny chip on their respective inside rims. The part that fits inside the dish, not the pink top. You can feel it if you slide your finger around the lip. Not sure if it was a production issue or if they are actual chips in the celluloid.
