"Equilateral Triangles Composition with accents in orange" is handmade a canvas tote bag made using screen printing and embroidery.

Philosophy:

I love math in general and especially geometry as it's visual representation. Triangles are geometry's basic shapes - a polygon with three sides. Equilateral triagles have all 3 sides same lenght and are very strong in their symbolism as well.

While erect triangles symbolize masculine energies, tips pointed down triangles symbolise feminine energies. Few shapes can offer such a shift of meaning just by their rotation. In my compositions here I tried to achieve balance and stability as it is wished to achieve in any human relationship

Making techinque:

This item is made by comibing two textile techniques - screen printing and embroidery. I hand printed the dark grey and light orange triangles on a already made cotton bag. To print I used screen printing technology and a dark grey a textile color (water based). Other triangles are either embroidered or they are a felt triangle sewn on the bag. The bag is signed in the lower right corner with permanent textile marker.

Wash it on low temperatures, tumble dry low and iron on medium temperatures if needed.
