This metal clipboard is from a vintage accounting system used to hold customer's charge tickets before the days of credit cards. These files were popular in mom and pop stores in the 1920's through the 1960's. Each spring-loaded clip has the original metal number tag attached to it.

We have added heavy industrial wire for hanging these. Also included are original receipts from the file. The receipts are dated 1942 and are from "George's Grocery" in Alpha, Wisconsin.

Good vintage condition. We cleaned these, but there are a few spots of rust.
