Reusable bags are a wonderful alternative to the traditional Ziploc bag. Reusable bags are made to be used again and again, eliminating plastic bag waste and hopefully saving your family from having to spend money on plastic baggies. It is estimated that, on average, that a family of 4 uses at least 1,500 plastic baggies a year.
Each reusable bag is made with a cotton exterior and a safe nylon interior. Nylon is water resistant, food safe, stain resistant, and free of any chemicals or plastic products. These bags close with a strip of Velcro across the top, but unlike other bags you cannot see the Velcro line on the outside of the bag! My bags also come free of raw edges inside and out. Refer to the last picture for an example of the inside of my bags.
My sandwich bags measure approx. 6 1/2 in. wide by 7 in. tall. (16.5 cm x 17.8 cm) While the snack bags measure approx. 6 1/2 in. wide by 4 in. tall. (16.5 cm x 10.6 cm).
CARE: To clean flip inside out and wipe with a damp cloth. Can be machine washed, I recommend line drying as heat can damage the nylon. These bags may also be ironed. To do this, use a nylon setting and iron the front of the bag (the side without the logo). I do not recommend using fabric softener on any of my products. Fabric softener can give foods stored in reusable bags an unpleasant taste. To soften your fabrics, and keep away odors try using a splash of vinegar in your Downy ball instead!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Things to Remember ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~ Pattern placement will vary from item to item, due to the nature of fabric.
~ Velcro colors may differ from item to item.
~ Any foods that may be used in product photographs are not real: these foods are merely used as photography props.
~ Each reusable bag has my shop logo featured on a back corner of the bag.
Etsy Eco-Tip: Each year, world wide, 500 billion to 1 trillion plastic bags are consumed. That is over 1 million bags consumed per minute. We can start reducing that number by using reusable bags and other products that replace their plastic counter parts!
