This beautiful luncheon sized cloth would work on a smaller table or placed on the diagonal on a larger table. It is a beautiful salmon/peach color and is edged with a cream colored machine made edging. The embroidery is all lovingly done by hand, someone with a lot more talent than I have. In each of the four corners, there is a bouquet of flowers with the center large one being pink. Each of the sides has two smaller floral bouquets, two in dark pink, two in turquoise, two in light pink and two in purple. There are four matching small napkins, each with a salmon colored flower embroidered in one corner.
The material I believe is a fine lightweight cotton. The tablecloth measures 33 in by 37 in. Each of the 4 napkins measure 9 in by 9 in.
All of the pieces are in perfect condition, I don't believe that they were ever used. From the design I would date this set from either the 1950s or 1960s. What a beautiful housewarming, wedding or shower gift this set would make.
