These will vary in size and color depending on the wood we get, but they will be similar to the ones in the picture. Also, wood can crack. I try to use only the non-cracked ones, but sometimes it will crack a little. We put a waterproof top-coat on to help preserve their beauty, protect from stains, and keep the words brighter. :)
