This wheel-thrown and handcrafted serving plate with attached dip bowl is designed with curves to bring a playful movement to the piece.
The Black Mountain clay used for this bowl is fired to a deep, rich brown. The exterior is left unglazed, enhancing the natural texture of the clay. The glazed turquoise interior give the piece a brightness of color, along with a contrast in texture with the natural clay.
All of my glazes are high fired, food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
