This display piece is turned from a large piece of Maple Burl from Wisconsin by a Brentwood, Tennessee turner. It measures 12 3/8 inches wide by 4 3/4 inches tall and is 3 1/2 inches deep. It is finished with multiple coats of polyurethane to bring out the figure of the wood. It has wonderful lines and colors that are eye catching to say the least. Yes, there are "onion" burl cracks in the piece that simply add to the beauty. This bowl is solid and very heavy. Thanks for looking at what I do for fun! Before purchase of this bowl I would convo me for more pictures and with any questions about the piece.
