As I saw this wood in its natural state, it was so hard to tell what it would look like, you could see the swirling grain but the color was extremely muted. Needless to say during the oiling process the color exploded off the piece. There were many bark inclusions in the wood, which provided some wonderful character to the vessel. This piece is really spectacular. Thanks for looking.

This piece measures :

6" tall by 5-1/2" in diameter. It is finished with lemon oil.
