I really love this sweet little bag! I made one for myself to carry this spring, and I think it's just about perfect. It's small, but it has just enough room for the things I carry every day. I can just fit my nook color inside, so I can carry it with me sometimes.

I quilted this bag by machine in a swoopy, swirly pattern using very lightweight batting. It keeps the bag from being slouchy, but it's also not too stiff. The quilting also gives the bag a little bit of texture but isn't too obvious.

The bag is about 8" wide at the opening and 11" wide at its fullest point, and 7.5" tall at the center. It has two inside pockets that are 4" tall by 3.5" wide; one to hold your Android, iPhone, or Blackberry and one for other necessities. I like to keep my lip balm in one pocket so it's easy to find. The strap is 40" long, so the bag will rest near your hip when worn over one shoulder, and can be worn cross-body when needed. A small magnetic snap keeps it closed yet easily accessible.

I take the extra time and effort to prewash all fabrics used in my bags so you can wash them in cool water on a delicate cycle (or by hand), and air dry. Hey, accidents happen, and I think you should be able to wash a fabric bag!

Each bag is individually handmade by me in my home studio, and is ready to ship today!

All pictures were taken in natural light and were not edited. I try to accurately show the colors, but your monitor may show them different than expected.

The original pattern for this bag was designed by Rae Hoekstra at madebyrae.blogspot.com. I have made significant modifications, including resizing and reshaping the bag so it is a little taller, my inside pocket is different, and the strap is a little narrower and a little longer. I also machine quilt the fabric for the bag and add extra interfacing so the bag has more body without being stiff.
