What a find we have here! We recently purchased a nice little load of salvaged wood beams here locally in San Diego. This naturally distressed barge wood was salvaged from a floating barge that was built in 1968 and had been in commission for over 40 years . This vessel was destroyed due to the recent Japanese tsunami that caused so much damage here on California's coastline. Some of the most colorful and unique natural patina we've ever seen. With hues of brown, orange, red, turquoise, and more this table offers a look and feel that just can't be duplicated. We wish we could have bought it all, but the Cabinet is only so big so we took what we could. This 60" solid wood table top was placed on 28" steel hairpin legs and sealed with a durable lacquer to complete what we think is the perfect look. A truly one of a kind piece with plenty of storied history that will make an excellent addition to any home. Thank you for your interest in this amazing piece, happy shopping friends.
