commercial office furniture goods. This is called the large double pedestal desk, made in
Manitowoc,WI. USA. early 1950.
Art Deco elements~Such as the slim-line drawer pulls and the protective corner metal
chromed end-caps only help capture the essence of this functional, timeless steel beauty.
Drawers and Typewriter Cabinet Specs~One ink-pen drawer in the center on your right
side you have three letter/paper drawers. Notice the top drawer has tray slots for all your
billing needs. All four drawers glide/pull nice and easy. No key, but most locksmiths
charge around $12.00, if you want the added security. On the left side you can store-away
that awesome typewriter you just purchased, on Etsy.com! All the hardware is complete
and in great working order. If no vintage typewriter, store your modern day digital goodies
or books, etc. Oh yes I can't forget about the pullout writing flat-top table tray, it's also in
Color of this beautiful Industrial tanker desk~Light Office Gray.
Condition~Minor typical age scratches, scuffs, marks, scraps with No dents to the front
drawers/cabinet. Some minor dings underneath where chair/legs go. Handles are steel
chrome plated, all are in great working order. Minor age rust here and there, ready to use
as it is or repaint it! Top is in good vintage order, has no cracks or drilled holes, very
useable writable condition. The desks top surface is a rubber risen material, not laminate.
So If you place a heavy object on the surface, it will make an indention on it.
Made very well and designed to last another 60 - 80 years...:)
