This hand-knit skinny tie is another take on the modern Mad Men look currently in vogue. You'll notice the stitch is a bit different from Lit Knits' other neckties - so the rows turn vertically on your knot. This makes for a subtle, but nonetheless fabulous statement! It's textured, but a little smoother than the others. As you can see in the photos, this stitch adds a depth and dimension to an otherwise simple men's look. The yarn is 100% cotton, so it's soft, durable, attractive, and breathable, while the color is rich mossy green (olive? army?).

The tie is named after Geoffrey Chaucer, in honor of my husband (who studies medieval literature). I originally knit this tie in blue for my husband as a birthday gift, and he has received so many compliments that I thought I'd add it to my Etsy inventory. (Seriously, so many compliments that I'm going to give him Lit Knits business cards to start carrying around. So you are pretty much guaranteed to look AMAZING.)
