Flower power is a slogan used by the American counterculture movement during the late 1960s and early 1970s in opposition to the Vietnam War as a symbol of passive resistance and non-violence ideology.
In his November 1965 essay titled How to Make a March/Spectacle, Ginsberg advocated that protesters should be provided with "masses of flowers" to hand out to police, press, politicians and spectators. (wikipedia.org)
This one-of-a-kind, original design was created using a pink-dyed agate geode as its centre and bright, groovy colours of orange, green, yellow and purple for the leaves. It represents the vibrancy and burst of spring, renewal and youth.
This design measures approximately 5 ½ inches tall and 5 inches wide. Created using lead-free solder.
This piece would be a unique gift for graduation, Mother’s Day, wedding, the Equinox or birthday.
