This pagan art yarn pendant necklace is called
"Yule Tree'
An evergreen tree, snow capped, standing in the middle of the forest clearing
surrounded by the last frosted flowers, vines with some holly still clinging to them.
Winter energy, fresh air, skies flurry with snow.
Yule is coming!
This art yarn necklace was made hand dyed and hand spun from Wensleydale, Gotland and Romney. It has several colours: heather purple, stormy sky grey and greyinsh green.
From it hangs a hand sculpted polymer clay pendant.
The cameo was built on a white patina-ed snowflake shaped filigree.
On the dark grape purple base sits a dark forest green pine tree, capped in snowy white
petals, surrounded by thin brown vines, to which cling small white and gold petals and tiny holly leaves and berries.
Next to the tree is a red poinsettia flower.
Above the tree twinkle white stars, one of them with a white crystal rhinestone center.
The whole scene is dusted with gold, iridescent white and silver shimmer to give it a frost covered look.
I love working with handspun yarn, the colours and textures are like nothing else!
And so vibrant!
It's also much more eco-friendly since no machinery is used to produce it.
And I love that I can support other artisans with my work, too.

It was hand stitched together at the ends to make a closure with a vintage golden button.
The necklace is adorned with silk and velvet millinery flowers and leaved in bright red, dark purple, aubergine purple, dark green and a little red wild velvet rose.
Scattered over the yarn are some beautiful Swarovski pearl beads in dark night blue and beautiful royal blue Bohemian Glass beads, lined with gold.
The necklace is 31 cm long from button closure to dangling pendant.
