This is leather bound and contains only black & white photographs - no colour. Except for the front page being loose & the spine needing regluing, it is in good condition. It has no publication date, but in 2 of the pictures, you can just see people and they are dressed in distinctly Victorian clothing. The woman appears to be wearing a bustle.

With heliotypes by E.L. Deley
Versailles (in France) was the setting for the signing of The Treaty of Versailles, which was one of the peace treaties at the end of World War I. It ended the state of war between Germany and the Allied Powers and was signed on 28 June 1919, exactly five years after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. In only 7 short years, it will be the 100th anniversary.
