This textured abstract felt of flowing water was inspired by water flowing over and around smooth pebbles. The feeling of turbulence was created by inclusions of silk and the currents are indicated with white yarn which has been couched on to the finished felt. The felt pebbles are 3 dimensional being first needle felted and then wet felted when placed in position. This piece of textile art is stretched on to an artists canvas and is ready to hang.
