WHAT ARE EDITABLE PDFS?
They are forms in which you can type your own text in wherever you see the light blue background. When printed, the light blue background will not remain. After you add your text, save it as a new document so you always have a blank document to start with.
HOW DO I PRINT THE LABELS?
You have two options:
1. Print from home using your laser or inkjet printer;
2. Save the PDF files onto a USB stick and take it to a local printing shop to print them for you.
WHAT PAPERS SHOULD I USE TO PRINT THE LABELS ON?
I recommend you to print the labels on:
1. White Heavy Card Stock Paper, at least 110lb or,
2. White Adhesive Removable Full-Sheet (Avery 6465): these an be removed from surfaces cleanly for quick and easy relabeling.
3. Clear Adhesive Full-Sheet (Avery 18665): these can create a nice transparent effect. Keep in mind that the text/white areas will not print white, but will remain transparent.
CAN I CHANGE THE FONT?
Yes, you can change the font of the editable fields. To change the font, just open the file in Adobe Reader, make sure some text is selected and press CTRL+E (or CMD+E on a Mac). A toolbar named "properties bar" will appear giving you additional text properties. In the properties bar, you can choose the font size, font type and font color you want.
