Not just another baby blanket! This 35" by 45" afghan is made using recycled yarn. Partial skeins, odd balls, the kind you might find in your grandmother's attic. This is mostly acrylic yarn. If you look closely at the picture there are a few peachy/orange squares that shrunk a little when I washed it. Those may be a wool blend type of yarn. Folks don't label those loose yarn ends so I am not sure what it is. This is a great crib size blanket. I can't stand throwing anything away so before the yarn scraps hit the landfill I was so happy to rescue them and make this blanket.
Even the lengths too short for a square get used as fringe on some of my other blankets. Thanks!
