SALE Vintage Locket Blue Stone Flower 1940s

Beautiful vintage 1940s gold locket. Features a gorgeous floral engraved design with a stunning flower composed of seven faceted blue stones. The center stone is a cobalt blue and the six petal stones are a lighter shade of blue with one darker anomaly. Gorgeous! The locket opens on the right with a small notch to reveal 2 spaces for images inside with both photo rings present (no covers). The right side has a darling blk/white image of a saintly young lady. The locket snaps closed tightly--so tight, it takes a bit of work to get it open again. The backside is plain in the center with a decorative embossed border. Appears to be gold filled or plated, no markings to confirm. The locket measures 2.5cm x 1.7cm (1 inch x 5/8 inch) not including the loop and ornamental bail. Some light metal wear from over the years, tarnish on the inside, and oh so faint surface scratches on the backside. A sweet locket to be treasured!
