These message boards are made from old record albums, coated with a special slate finish applied on both sides of the vinyl to create a blank, usable chalkboard. They can be hung on a single nail just about anywhere, and they can be used like any normal chalk board, requiring no special chalk or eraser.
The chalkboard record is non-toxic and very durable for everyday use. More economical to use over a whiteboard no more expensive pens or cleaning solution.
