Hand-crocheted with 100% Egyptian cotton, which has been mercerized to give it some shine! While I wet-block and pin my doilies to refine the shape, I don't starch the life out of them, so they maintain a lovely amount of drape. Though doilies were originally intended to be protective barriers, much like coasters, the bright colors I use could easily let these transition to stand-alone decor objects.
Color is "sun yellow", a nice warm golden shade. (While I make every effort to ensure photos are an accurate representation of color, computer monitors do tend to vary in their depiction of exact colors.)
I crochet all of my pieces with great care, and the sturdy tiny stitches will hold up for lifetimes, giving these items heirloom-quality with a fresh colorful twist!
The thread is technically machine washable, though I would recommend hand-washing if you need to clean it. May be gently folded for shipping - but I've folded some of my own for storage, and they haven't creased, so no worries - just cheaper shipping costs for you!
