This little teapot is great. It was handmade by me on the potter's wheel. It is made of stoneware clay and glazed with a beautiful glaze called Temmoku, of japanese origin. It is a black glossy glaze that breaks orange on the thinner areas of application. It is finished with a bamboo handle. Of course, it is a functional teapot, so it pours cleanly, but it is also a very attractive shape so it can be used as display. It will keep your tea warm for a long time.
-The measurements are : 3" tall to the top, 7" tall including the handle, 17" in circumference at it's widest point, 2 1/2" at the opening.
