❀About the FRENCH LAVENDER❀ : the lavender I insert in my sachets comes from Provence and is cultivated by small producers from southern France.
It's a true lavender flower (also known as Lavandula Angustifolia), with a very good quality and sweet-scented.
The lavender is well known since the dawn of time for its unrivaled fresh scent and its antiseptic and soothing properties. It helps to relax and improves well-being.
In France, we traditionally put the dry-lavender sachets in wardrobes to repel moths and perfume the freshly cleaned clothes.
❀ About the French Toile de Jouy ❀:
Toile de Jouy is a cotton fabric known as "Indian" on which are represented with sets of characters or pastoral landscapes. There may also only floral motifs. The drawings are mostly monochrome. Originally, the term means Toile de Jouy "fabric from Jouy-en-Josas", a town not far from Paris. But today the toile de Jouy is produced in other regions of France.
