This brooch is part of a series decorated with decals taken from some of my original drawings inspired by Japanese prints Ukiyo-e: subjects taken from my daily life, sharp outlines, solid patches of garish color, support's use (in this case porcelain's iced white) for subject's enlighten
(2nd picture).

Round base is made with white iced porcelain, patiently hand smoothed, high-fired and left unglazed. Rounded edge.
On back is fixed a nickel-free, round safety pin in silver finish, giving the whole a neat appearance.
Measures: diameter 44 mm (1.73"); thickness (pin included) 8 mm (0,31")
