This altitude mask is a great steampunk accesory, mostly functional even in terms of fictional conception. Long straps and special form of the mask provides perfect fit to all sizes and forms of faces (at least human ones). Strap system provides perfect fit, yet it is very simple to use. No need to unstrap the buckles each time you need to wear your mask - once you have adjusted the straps to fit your size, you just fasten/unfasten strap holders using brass studs on both sides. This mask will protect your face from cold winds of the high skies when you flying your airship... and it will do the same job, even if you're riding your bike down here at the surface.

Front and side parts – made of 2mm veg-tanned leather, finished with Feibing's "Atom Wax" to achieve additional smoothness and rich gloss. All parts handstitched with waxed polyester thread.
Padding rim - made of soft 1mm calfskin. The padding is handstitched with waxed polyester thread.
Straps - made of 2mm veg-tanned leather, finished with feibing's "Atom Wax". The straps are long enough to fit even the largest head sizes.
Strap buckle and loop – classic "roll buckles" made of steel and anodized with brass. Very durable.
Bolts, nuts and studs – made from brass, all in standard 1\8' threading.

We ship via Express Mail Service (EMS). Although being a bit expensive, it is relatively reliable, provides tracking information of the shipping progress. Shipping usually takes from 4 to 8 business days (very rarely more than 8 days).

In addition to all this, we want to add some important notes. Practically, our mask is made of veg-tanned leather, handstitched and decorated with some real brass parts – with no use of faux leather, rubber, synthetics, plastic etc...The only un-authentic part is polyester thread – and this, is only for the reason of reliability – we don't want the edge padding falling apart after two or three years of usage. That’s why, it is not cotton thread, but polyester.
However, please, keep in mind, that this mask is a novelty item after all, so we definetly don't recommend using this mask in bio-chemical contamination areas. This mask will protect your face from wind, dust and debris when you're riding a bike or flying a blimp... but it wouldn't provide sufficent protection even against tear gas, let alone iprit or phosgen.
