The MB1 Model is hand crafted from heavy gauge steel and designed to last a lifetime. The face of the mailbox is composed of 1/4" thick steel plate. THE MAILBOXES ARE BARE STEEL AND WILL EVENTUALLY RUST TO A DARK BROWN. RUST CAN STAIN SURFACES. We do not offer paint services, but the plaques are clean steel when shipped and can be easily painted if desired.
