This listing is for a lot of six antique fishing net floats. From an estate sale in Upper Michigan. Owner said these were carved and used by her father in the 1920's. He was a fisherman and boat builder working on Lake Michigan. These old wood floats were hand carved out of cedar, each one being a little different from the next. They are all approximately 10" to 12" long with different widths and thicknesses with one side being flat. They are covered in some type of oil or tar and some still have strings or rope fastened on the flat side. They are dirty and "black dust" rubs off when handled. Unique collectible piece of maritime history. Please see all photos and email with any questions. Thanks!
A lot of my items are vintage, not new, and selling "as is". If my description and photos do not answer your questions, please email.
