This dress can be worn for a night out on the town and is suitable for the office when worn with a cute camisole and / or blazer! The dropped shoulder is accented by a shaped / cornered armhole, the waist is gathered at the front and back and includes pleats to give a bit of fullness at the back waist as well. Front pockets (why, of course!) are a great detail that I just can't go without.
The inner construction of the dress includes a 2" waistband at the waist to keep everything pulled together and the top is designed to have a bit of 'blouson' effect which accentuates the gorgeous drape of the bamboo / organic cotton jersey. Please note the neck drop is relatively low at the front. The front panels overlap at the center front waistband. The skirt is meant to have a bit of fullness at the waist and narrows as it reaches the hem.

Top: 67% bamboo viscose 30% Organic Cotton / 3% elastane, Color: Black
Bottom: 58% soy 37% organic cotton / 5% elastane french terry, Color: Black
Made from high quality, natural fibre textiles - the top is light weight and the bottom is thicker but not too heavy for spring/summer weather.
Clean finishing at all seams. Gentle wash cold / hang to dry - steam. These fabrics have also been pre-washed and pre-shrunk ahead of time! Please note colors may vary from computer to computer.
** Please note a polyester/rayon/spandex doubleknit can also be substituted for the Soy/organic cotton french terry if you prefer a less casual look in the fabric. Please mention your preference if you'd prefer the substitution in the 'notes to seller' upon checkout. **
Size:
Custom sizing is available on most items in the shop! If ever in doubt - feel free to contact me with your measurements and I will be happy to give you a helping hand! A measurement chart is also available upon request if you are unsure of how to measure.
Length measures 34" from high shoulder point to hem (size xs/sm) Length is adjusted about 3/8" for each size up. Shoulder to waist with a bit of "blouson" measures 17". Model is wearing a size small and measures bust 34" / waist 27" / hip 37".
** Neck drop: measures approximately 9" from shoulder which is typically a 'sexy' neck drop. It is difficult to adjust this to be higher due to the blouson effect and looseness of the upper bodice therefore it is recommended to wear a slip, camisole or bralette underneath to cover your cleavage if that is a concern. :)

Measurements below refer to body measurements. The dress itself is made to be slightly larger/looser than these measurements to give you a proper fit and a bit of ease. Of course with the blouson effect there is a comfortable amount of ease.
