This is a brochure probably from the 1930s (undated) put out by the Office National du Tourisme of France and includes printed engravings on the front and back of Paris attractions. It is printed mostly in English but has lots of French terms and attraction names are printed in French.
As you unfold the brochure you see 30 excursions in auto car "around l'ile de France" complete with road maps you can take from Paris to amazing French destinations (all illustrated) such as Chartres Cathedral, the Palace of Versailles, Rouen, Reims, Fountainbleau, and more.
There is lots of information about Paris and France from the tourism board such as Paris and its neighbourhood, historical building and art treasures, and its unique surroundings. Addresses for all the French tourism offices in other countries are listed including London, Berlin, New York, Madrid, Cairo, Rio de Janeiro and more.
As you open the brochure even more, there is the vintage map of Paris, with places printed in black on a ivory and butter yellow background in a beautiful vintage font. Shown are roads, major attractions which are illustrated such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the Paris Opera House, Notre Dame, and little crosses dotting the huge cemeteries. Distances to auto car destinations are printed in red with mileage.
It measures 7" by 4 1/2" when folded up, 13 5/8" by 17 5/8" completely unfolded. Eminently frameable although the folds would show.
It is in good condition except for pin holes in all four corners where it was evidently displayed, and some minor ripping at a few folds. The ivory paper is matte and is slightly yellowed due to age.
