Incredibly beautiful antique bracelet, circa 1920s. Marked Sterling / Esemco, the imprint of the Shiman Manufacturing Company, a firm established in 1906. Finely wrought sterling silver filigree with a central muted green stone that could be peridot or crystal. Hinged link band and ingenious fastening mechanism; a buttoned clasp is lifted and a 1 1/2" section slides out from within the band to allow for easy on and off. A highly collectible and quite rare piece of antique jewelry.
The interior of the bracelet measures approximately 2 7/8" from side to side and 2 1/4" from top to clasp. It is in excellent condition for its age, showing minimal evidence of wear throughout.
