Vintage Hendryx Birdcage with Stand. Brass Birdcage is in good vintage condition, considering its age. This cage is from the late 1800s to early 1900s. The green paint its still quite vibrant. The door hinge works and clasps. The drawer slides out easily and the latch works. There is a slight bend in the wire near the top of the cage but, is not that noticable and can probably be bent out again. There are a few wires that have a slight crimp near the bottom of them. Two perches are included. Hendryx is stamped in the bottom of the cage. The Hendryx brass plate is shown on the front of the cage. The stand is in worn condition with some rusting on the base. New Haven is stamped on the bottom of the stand but, Hendryx is not visible due to the rust on the bottom of base of stand. This cage could be used for a bird but, it is probably best used as a prop for photo styling or display in your home due to its age.
**Listing includes both birdcage AND stand.

I believe that our homes reflect the story that we tell about our lives. Each special object is a poem unto itself. I like to imagine the stories and poems that have lived through the days of these objects of beauty. When they come to live with you they continue on telling the story and poems of your own special life.
