This modern wrap skirt is designed with an A-line shape that is comfortable, easy to wear, and flattering on just about everyone. There is a front/side pocket, cleverly hidden in the fabric pattern, but big enough to hold a cell phone. The silver grommet fastening on the denim waistband offers a little edge. The line of the skirt is simple and allows the amazing fabric to make the statement.
Black buses on a natural linen background run across the horizontal strip of black and grey polka-dots at the base of the skirt. The top of the skirt is dark eggplant with turquoise polka-dots followed by horizontal stripes of mustard yellow. An amazing, and very sophisticated combination of colors. The waistband is a neutral dark denim and is complimented by a contrasting gray hem.
The lark wrap is elegant enough to wear to work, but can also be thrown on with a t-shirt and flip-flops to get you through the chores and challenges of the day. As a working mother of three, style, versatility and comfort were key to this design!
It's also the perfect getaway weekend skirt - pack it and a couple of t-shirts and you're ready to go.
**The fabric is a mid-weight cotton/linen blend. It is very durable and will go for many wearings between washings. It's fine to wash in the machine on the delicate cycle/cold water. But Please don't put it in the dryer!! If you flatten and smooth it out before you line dry it, it will hardly need and pressing.**
This is a "wrap" skirt, and the width of the fabric is generous to allow for ample coverage in the back -- even on a windy day. The length of the skirt will depend on how you are most comfortable wearing it. When worn at the natural waist, (as shown on the model) the skirt will typically fall just above the knees. If you wear the skirt as i do, slightly lower on the waist (think mid-low rise jeans),
the wrap will fall just at the knee.
