If the seamlines in the pants pull up slightly after washing/drying, just stretch gently back into position. This happens with a silk crepe because of its stretchiness.
The waistband is elasticized but can be widened if necessary and there is also a tie if you want to tighten it further.
SIlk crepe is one of the strongest silks and was used almost exclusively in the early 1900's for sleepwear and lingerie. . Wonderful silk with a lustrous sheen to it.
These pajamas were hand dyed and are a beautiful shade of robin's egg blue. The style of the pj top is a kimono styling which allows for very easy wearability and sleepability as well.
All seams top and bottom are French seams so there is no roughness next to your body.
The ties at the bottom of the top hem can be loosened so that you can wear flat instead of gathered lightly to the hip. The ties are of the same fabric so that you can lightly press and maintain better than a ribbon.
