Maybe you remember these from the mid to late 1960's and into the early 70's? These are nickel-free raw brass hoops with a 55mm inside diameter or 2 1/4". The tubing is hollow in the middle but is 2mm or 1/16" wide. They close by inserting the fine surgical steel wire on one side into the earring tubing on the opposite side. You can wear as is for a classic hoop or you can wire wrap any lovelies that you want or wear both ways. You can slide the wire wrapped beads, jewels or pearls off and wear them pared down and simple. These are "new old stock" or stock that has been stored for decades and decades in old jewelry supply warehouses or the stockrooms of now defunct large jewelry manufacturers mostly here in the east. They have never before been circulated or used. You can see the attractive natural patina like that of an antique piece of gold. If you want them to look shinier, you can steel wool with a small pad of #0000 (super fine) steel wool.(dry not wet) If you steel wool, they will look like the last photo. There are also many other styles of vintage earrings and ear wires in the shop in other listings. Look in the section settings and findings.
You will receive 3 pairs. *** WE HAVE A $10.00 MINIMUM SHOP PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES BEFORE THE SHIPPING CHARGES ARE ADDED. THANK YOU. ******
