These spreaders are special, since they are made from recycled vintage American silverplated silverware.
The spreaders are made from pattern "ETERNALLY YOURS" made in 1941 by 1847 Rogers. "ETERNALLY YOURS" IS A HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE PATTERN.
The butter spreaders measures 6 1/8" long and are in perfect condition. They are very clean and shiny. These LOVE, JOY AND BUTTER SPREADERS are EXQUISITE AND WILL MAKE A WONDERFUL HOUSEWARMING, BRIDAL OR HOSTESS GIFT. I know you will love them!
THESE SPREADERS CAN BE USED TO SPREAD JAM, JELLY, PRESERVES, BUTTER, PEANUT BUTTER, NUTELLA, APPLE BUTTER, CREAM CHEESE, SOFT CHEESES, ETC.
Please know that hand stamping is an "imperfect art"! :) Because of the stamping process on this piece, you will be able to see evidence of the stamping on the backside. This is normal.
P.S. HAND WASH THESE SPREADERS, SINCE THEY ARE SILVERPLATED. THE CHEMICALS IN THE DISHWASHER DETERGENTS WILL EVENTUALLY REMOVE THE SILVER PLATE.
The oxidaton of the words will wear off with use and washing.
