There are a few scratches to the glass and a small dent and a tiny bit of rust at the bottom of the metal rim. It's barely noticeable. The glass was taken out and cleaned on both sides, leaving no streaks on the inside glass. The clock doesn't come with a wall mounting bracket. It can be held up high on a wall by drilling a hole in the rear plastic cover for a nail or use a couple long nails to hold the clock by the top metal rim. The clock could also rest on a shelf, kitchen countertop, table or desk.
The time is set by removing the front wire, which holds the glass in place. This is easy to remove with a small screwdriver. After setting the time, carefully place the glass back as you push the wire spring back in place to hold the glass. It's much easier than it sounds! Otherwise, you could wait for the exact hour, minute and, then plug the clock in.
A classic clock used in schools, hospitals and industrial settings back in the early 1960's. A fun retro piece to decorate with and it has a lovely timeless look!
Shipping includes handling. Special handling is needed, as the clock has glass.
