Measuring about 11 by 12.5 by 2 inches, this is a medium daypack by Charles & Charlus, made in France. The straps vary between about 22 and 32 inches (they are adjustable.) The color of this bag is called Slate Gray but I would call it Blue, so there you are. The leather is thick and sturdy, you can even hand wash it in the sink or tub with some mild soap. Charles et Charlus's individually hand-made purses are extremely hard to get, particularly at this price point. They are like Coach or Longchamp, only better quality and longer-lasting. It's made of very thick and supple nubuck leather. The brand is Charles et Charlus. If you have been to Paris, you may have seen women wearing this designer without catching who the maker was. They don't advertise, have sales, etc., and the lightly embossed designer name on the bag is subtle and sometimes comes off with time. These bags are built to last forever and they really do. They also get collected. This one has no damage apart from some smudges and marks and spots. No flash or electronic corrections have been made in the taking of the photos. Made in France. The closure is a real buckle, because it's a backpack or knapsack, and it needs to be secure when you're using it in the city or the store. I also have the same bag in brown saddle leather, for sale in my shop at this writing.
