STRAIGHT FROM THE PARIS FLEA MARKETS! ~ This gorgeous antique French faience platter is simply stunning and I'm so excited to have found this beautiful historical piece. Creamy white and deep sapphire blue make up the elegant color palette and lovely flowers trail along the edges. This very old piece of French pottery is refined enough for a your Parisian decor but fits perfectly with the rustic charm of the French farmhouse look too! Use it to serve up your favorite dishes, cheeses, fruits or take it out of the kitchen and use it in a bathroom for towels, soaps, or candles. So many uses!
Made by Saint Amand et Hamage, this tin glazed pottery or faience platter has signs of wear and slight discoloration as would be expected of a piece of this age, dating to the early 1900's. Some of the edges are worn but it is free of chips and cracks. It has a wonderful aged patina and would make a beautiful addition to your antique French tableware.
It measures 13" x 9".
