This simple and stunning ring is made with a ~ 5 mm natural faceted apatite. Stone is very sparkly and has a prominent teal blue colour with a very very few inclusion. ! Like a clear turquoise. That would be make a perfect ring in one's jewelry collection for a juicy summer or for any season or any occasion..!
I do not use any cheap ready mountings and I truly hand made the bezel of the stone in traditional metalsmithing techniques starting from scratch metal. (this is not a tube setting as well! )
I use rather thick gauge pure silver for the bezel of the stone for extra protection and the rest of the ring is sterling silver. The finished piece is about 6mm. or a bit more. You should consider to buy your apatite ring in a bezel set instead of a prong setting or other type of open setting to protect the stone from possible crash or damage since the hardness of apatite gem is about 5 - 5.5 in Mohs scale. It would be a lifetime jewelry that you would cherish..
* Shank(band) is quite substantial and elegant: 2 mm wide x 1mm thick and hammered half round. Rectangle(1.8 x 1.2mm ) or square (1.5mm ) band is possible instead of half round band. Also If you want it smooth instead of hammered that is possible. Let me know your preferences when you check out.

You can use this as a perfect stacking ring as the bezel sits on top of the shank. It would be a nice addition to any wide band or sandwich in between two wide stacks and other slim plain bands. Also would make a beautiful compliment to any of your rough or cabochon rings.
This would make a nice solitaire engagement ring as well. Options go on....Last picture shows that ring with a rough amethyst and a faceted amethyst stacks..so lovely!!
