H.J. Wood (Ltd.), manufactured earthenwares at the Alexandra Pottery, Burslem, in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries, England, from 1884.
It measures 9 5/8 inches tall.
The condition is good and there are no chips, cracks, or hairlines and there's no sign of any crazing.
It has the odd mark, but overall is lovely and clean and in fine fettle for the age.
It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display piece or practical period prop.
