• Dimensions – necklace is approximately 12 inches long by 8 inches wide when worn. The largest agate stone measures approx 3 inches long by 2.5 inches wide. Necklace is approximately 24 inches in total length from start to finish. Since this necklace is done on all silk and leather and does not have metal backings it is wonderfuly lightweight although it does not look it.
• Design and Construction – Necklace features the best quality Brazillian agate that I handpicked for their shape, color and luste. These stones have been sliced and polished but otherwise remain in their natural form and project beautiful veining and have absolutely no drill holes in them.
Each stone is surrounded by textured gold chain, hand embroidered on to silk to form 5 motifs which are then attached together with gold findings and the necklace is finished with a high quality gold plated chain.
