Sorry, this item sold. Have SolDelSur make something just for you, or try these other items:
You can use it the traditional way as a shawl, or wrap your neck up in it (forward or backwards) for a gorgeous urban folk look. It has two different sides, so you can play with it.
It consist of two different fabrics (one unique mustard yellow, one deep green), seamed one against each other in a triangular shape. The trimming is also yellow.
PLEASE NOTE: these are made in batches of two, and I cannot assure you I'll be able to make the same scarf again (other batches might have the same base colors, but the patterns and secondary colors are usually different) so grab it while you can!
The patterns on the fabrics correspond to traditional patterns used in different towns in Peru. Some use chevrons, other diamonds, other use anthropomorphic figures. Most of them are super colorful! They used to be handwoven, but now they are machine-woven in acrylic yarns, and people give them many uses!
It measures 60" on the base and 30" from the point to the center of the base (it's a half square!).
Care instructions: This is 100% Acrylic so it wont stain your other clothes when you put it in the machine. Dry in low heat (it dries pretty quickly! consider not using the dryer, saves energy). Iron in low heat, too.
It will arrive to you neatly packaged, ready for gift-giving (or gift-getting!).
I designed these with the help of my good friend and amazing artist Melina Rapimán. You can find more from her here (it's in Spanish but plenty of images): http://experienciamelina.blogspot.com/
